Yes, I'm back...

I'm looking for a Z4M Coupe, but if I do return to the fold, I will be looking for a very honest but sensibly-priced car, with the following requirements. Please try not to tempt me with a bargain, as I am known to buy on impulse! (Last car I bought from here, I discussed at 11pm at night, and had bought it by 7am the next morning)

Colour
Preferred: Alpine White, Monaco Blue, Sepang Bronze, Ruby Black, Midnight Blue
No problem: Sapphire Black, Silver Grey, Titanium Silver, Interlagos Blue, Space Grey, Imola Red
Definitely not: Phoenix Yellow

Interior
Preferred: Champagne, Light Sepang Bronze
Not fussed: Black
Not preferred, but acceptable: Imola Red, Amarone
Definitely not: Any bi-colour, Sepang Brown

Dash
Preferred: Carbon Leather, Piano Black
Definitely not: Anything else

Specification
Must have: Bluetooth, cruise control, seat heating, automatic dimming mirrors, DSP/Loudspeaker system
Nice to have: Nav, Intravee, folding mirrors, PDC, sun protection glass, CD changer

Modifications
Light modifications are OK, including: CSLs (genuine only), sports exhaust, etc.
I would prefer a standard one.

Mileage & Service History
No set mileage requirement, but would prefer under 60,000 miles.
If a BMW warranty is in place, this would be nice, but not essential.
The service history must be absolutely spot on. The running-in service must be complete, and the correct schedule followed.

I believe that's about it.

Would think dimming interior mirror and cruise are an easy retro fit. You missed midnight blue off you list of colours. See if STEVE220 sold, he'd had a deposit last I read.

You will do well to find an Alpine white M coupe, and has Drac just not sold his??
Good luck with tha search,IK,And welcome back

There was a bargain 13900 coupe that just sold to a dealer/was that no good for you??(as cant remember the colour).

Cruise can be added, there are a couple of indis that have fitted. Mirrors more of a problem though I would say

How come everyone wants one when I'm not selling, and when I am selling nobody wants one :headbang:

Always the way.
I've been keeping an eye on whats for sale lately and it seems there are fewer and fewer over the lest few months. Half the ones that are out there have been for sale a good while and have questionable spec or mileage.

I remember saying years ago that I wanted to buy yours when you were ready to sell, alas when I bought my roadster you'd decided to keep yours again

Love the spec requirement, will keep my eyes peeled. Still keeping the A3?

Nope, if I buy another Z4, the A3 will go back. It's only on a short-term lease, as my partner works for Audi.

I'll add Midnight Blue in, as it's one of my favourite colours!

I thought cruise was still more difficult than the 3.0si? That's good news you can get it fitted though. What's the approximate cost?

Excellent specs chosen there. Aside from replacing interlagos with ruby black in the preffered column thats all exactly what i would go for :D

Cruise unfortuneately is not an easy retro fit on the M. :( Or so we're told. If i stick in my VIN code in online the kit does come up but others have reported the cabling to need splicing in to the cars main loom. Its been done by a couple of indy's.

I miss cruise  Theres a place in Surrey that says they can do it, I may try get it done if i get round to it.

Hello Dreamer! You've changed to an M! Did your old car stay modded and go to a forum member?

From memory about 300 quid to get an Indy to fit cruise.

What we really need is to crawl over a car that's had it retro fitted so we can work it out ourselves.

£300 is alright with me. Perhaps cruise control isn't a 'must have'; as long as I can retrofit it.

Actively looking now. I have plenty of time to find the right car, but if there's anything out there, get in contact.

Just revised my requirements slightly.

If anyone wants a swift sale and has a sensibly-priced Z4M, let me know.

GLWTS.

I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I see anything.

Midnight Blue and Monaco Blue in the preferred list, but Carbon Black didn't make the cut :o

I know - I'm a bit weird. In reality, any colour except PY will be fine, but may as well try to get the spec I really want.

I originally had Imola Red in the top list, but having had one already, I downgraded it!

Hi IK,

Mines for sale - Midnight Blue with Champagne interior. I think it ticks most of your boxes.
