I will do! I am just having a moan to get out my frustration, I'll get there eventually! :driving:

I think I am going to go and buy myself a pair of carbon fibre Oakley sunglasses to cheer myself up for the time being

They were for sure. I'm guessing that's from a 2003 brochure or maybe us market one. There are far to many pre face lifts around with M sport seats for them not to have been an option.

Ok here is the latest one from yesterday, its getting comical now!

A new z4 pops up on autotrader yesterday morning 2 miles from my house looks very tidy in the pics and a decent price. I call up and speak to a very polite lady who says the car is in v.good condition and I can come and see the car this evening etc, take the address, all sorted. Get a call back 30 minutes later....

"Sorry, will you be able to come tomorrow?" hang on a minute, surely this is a wind up I'm thinking (what happened to me last time).....She says the car was in for an MOT at kwik fit autocentre just down the road from my house and they have made a "mess up" of some sort so the car wont be ready till tomorrow. Ok, fair enough no biggy I'll come tomorrow. I decide to take a drive there straight after work and find it in the car park. I told the mechanics who were outside that I was having a cheeky look over it because the lady who dropped it in to them was selling it.

I asked 1 of the mechanics how the MOT went and what the "mess up" was, and he said "oh didn't she tell you that the car was overheating on the ramps?" LOL

I then look over the car anyway, and its a mess, gouges in the paint that have clearly happened after the pics for the advert were taken. The wheels are a bit of a state, and the soft top roof is filthy and has moss around the edges or windows/boot. The roof looked very clean in the pics, to the point that I'm sure the pics were taken about 12 months ago! I then ask the mechanic to open the car for me, which he reluctantly did after I promised I wouldn't touch anything and it stank of dampness, at that point I had a laugh with the mechanic at what a state the car was and drove home happy that I wouldn't be buying it.

You really do have to laugh sometimes! :o

That's why id never buy a car of eBay mate, I've been looking for similar setup as you for about 3-4 months now.

Alot of people out there ready to screw you over!

"Very good condition" to a lady owner is likely to mean scrap metal to most enthusiasts. My Mrs sees nothing wrong with a kerbed wheel and a few parking dings. Unsurprisingly she doesn't drive my zed

They definitely were, my 2005 had them. Think they were around £400.

Nosa had them on his 2004. They became an option in April 2004 IIRC. You're right. They were £400 as an option
