As title, if anyone has one of these knocking around I'd be happy to take it off your hands.
Already done the Bluetooth install and need another project while the weather's rough.
I looked at making the lead myself but found it difficult as the pictures contained in the excellent write up on here are no longer visible/showing up.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Think this is the kit

Feel I need those pics to see how/where the wires connects to the input socket. I've figured out the connections on plug C and resistors so raring to get started.

Cyber face said he got one from a dealer for £26. If that price is available, it's not worth building your own :)

Ace. Yes I could buy one but always enjoy fiddling with the car, when it works it's a great feeling.
Thanks for the diagram.

Thanks for the diagram.

number 3,4,10 on the connector doesn't have pins ,get any bmw connector from scrap yard, remove the pins and fit to yours ,i've used from e39 ,also don't bother with AUX in socket, just solder connector from old headphones

I have genuine kit that i purchased on here recently, paid 30 quid.

I'll try and take pics tomorrow if interested...I'm selling car soon so won't get round to fitting :(

i did indeed get one for £26, its not the part number comes up on the other threads tho (i gave them that and it didnt show up, so they checked and found it manually, ill put the part number up as soon as i get back from collecting it tomorrow
