Hello all,

First time poster here, currently in process of selling my S2000 and looking to buy a decent Z4 Coupe, ideally looking for:

- < 80k miles
- non-silver in colour (sorry, fed up of silver cars). quite keen on black but open to almost anything
- need full service history and a newish MOT
- must be able to disable the airbag and isofix a bonus (little un on the way!)

Budget is anything up to around £12k. Any takers? I'd prefer to buy from an enthusiast if possible :driving:

You should get lucky real quick Jeffers with your shopping list
Keen on black
Up to 80k is ok
Budget £12k
FSH & mot
can't see a problem for you at all , welcome to the forum

Am I right in assuming that the airbag can be disabled on all coupe models? Need to fit a baby seat occasionally. Do they have isofix as standard?

Best of my knowledge it isn't on them all , could be year dependent ? pretty sure my 56 Coupe didn't have the facility to switch it off via dash button , current 08 Roadster does though ?

Hi Jeffers are you looking for an M or 3.0Si
I just noticed your location... youre about 10 miles down the road from me! I've done a quick bit of forum stalking and found the ad you posted back in February, looks very nice. Is it still accurate? Any more info/pics?

Now for the crunch... can you turn the airbag off? Thought it was a standard feature but it seems not. We're expecting our first later in the year so being able to fit a baby seat is a deal breaker for me.

ye think this is correct

My '07 coupe has isofix and passenger airbag disable; pretty sure the seller said they were options, not standard.

My '08 Coupe doesn't have the passenger airbag disable button, so I'm assuming it must've been an option?

OK, so it looks like its an option and not fitted as standard. cossied has confirmed that his has the magic switch and im going to take a look.

Anyone else selling up? My S2000 has now gone so seriously looking to buy :driving:

Thanks! PM sent.

Had an S2K 7 years ago, loved it, but my coupe was much better overall & better usable poke

You will love a coupe, plus without the S whispering 'I will kill you if you hit a puddle on just one side', perhaps I read too many S2KUK posts though, like here if you read too much; things you never thought to worry about !

Coupe never set a foot wrong & was enough of a memory to bring me back to an M third time round.

I think its a myth to be honest, or people being stupid. Had mine for 4 years and didnt get it to twitch without a hefty bit of right-footed encouragement!Or maybe I drive like miss daisy. As much as I liked the S2k Im looking forward to not having to rev the nuts off something to make progress.

Thanks for the welcome everyone - seems a decent forum!
