Looking for a silver, grey or blue e86 with preferably less than 70k miles and a full service history. Would like a black interior but will consider alternatives. Must be in good condition all round, willing to travel for the right car.

Well i can't see you struggling to match your wants , possibly the 70k part but the other criteria should be easy enough boxes to tick .
One here to start you off https://www.gumtree.com/p/bmw/bmw-z-series-z4-si-sport-coupe-coupe-3.0-manual-petrol/1351034305
Enjoy the search & feel free to offer up any possibles here as often cars for sale have been discussed
Welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum

They have had that in for a good month or so- you might be able to get it down on price.

I was tempted to shoot up from Leeds to see it before I bought mine.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

A Coupe is a good choice, especially in Blue, but then I'm biased.

As has been said you shouldn't have any problem finding one of your colour choices, but 70K miles is more of a challenge now that even the last ones are over 10 years old.

You don't mention which model or which gearbox you want, but most people tend to go for Sport models because they all had the very desirable M-Sport seats. Standard spec was a bit miserly, so if any of the options are "must-haves" bear that in mind - cruise control is the easiest one to retro-fit.

Happy hunting.

That silver one linked above on gumtree is on a shortlist of cars i'm interested in and seems well priced. Should have mentioned before i'm only after a manual in sport spec. Not that concerned with optional extras beyond the standard sport spec, but anything like xenons or folding mirrors is a nice bonus.

Here’s one. 10k miles more than you’re ideally wanting but still low in the great scheme of things. Has folding mirrors too I think as the button looks like it’s there on the armrest in the pics. Also has the MFSW and heated seats which the Gumtree one doesn’t seem to have.

That Arnold Clark one looks really great with the Individual Bi-Colour seats option, and it's £1,000 cheaper!

I'm not sure it's got the power-fold mirrors, that looks like the button to switch from left to right - power-folds have a 2nd button.

But it's also got cruise control, parking sensors and the passenger airbag disabling feature - I can't quite see the light switch well enough to tell for sure, but it just may have Bi-Xenons too which are well worth having!

Yep on second look I think it may not have power fold mirrors after all. Still looks quite a tidy example and Arnold Clark recently dropped the price by £500 too.

Shame about the painted wheels on the arnold clark one though, i dont think they look very good. Think i prefer the MV2 alloys anyway.

That's fair enough, although the Sport models came with MV2s as standard which were also fitted to E46 3 Series Sport models so aren't exactly exclusive. Plus they're a PITA to clean!

The 108s like on the Arnold Clark one were a cost option and seem to be more popular.

But if you saved £1,000 on the car you could always find a set of wheels on here for less than half that!

I wouldn’t bother with the Arnold Clark one , there is corrosion bubbling up on nearly all of the wheel arches , it’s also been sitting at Mannheim auctions for the last 6 months where they couldn’t sell it for some reason .

They have had it in since November last year , I looked at it and it’s been up for sale since then .

Well there you go. That’s why being on a forum like this can be invaluable with members looking out for each other. Saves you a wasted journey

Planning on selling my 3.0Si Coupe soon to fund a Z4M,

78k FULL service history, recent service for all fluids, including gearbox/diff,
Recent water pump and expansion bottle as a precation, been pampered in my care at Newhall BMW specialists here in Sheffield,
Carbon Black, so looks very dark blue in some light, Darker red interior,

Pains me to part with it as it wants for nothing, but I'm ready for the M version,

This is it,

Comes with Z4M wheels and run flat tyres instead of the 3SDM's as I'm keeping them,
Exhaust is DLV modified via this forum, A little louder than standard but not as loud as an Eissenmann etc,

Fantastic looking car you have there, but the colour both inside and outside isn't quite what i'm looking for. You should have no problem finding a buyer though.

Buy mine and you'll live happily ever after. And I'd be prepared to write that on the side of a bus.

If it was a manual there is a good chance i already would have bought yours. Looks lovely in that colour, GLWS.

Hello Patrick,

I might be parting ways with my Z4M Coupe... if you are interested we could discuss offline perhaps?

OP,
apologies for hijacking your thread!

Still on the lookout for a well looked after coupe. Based in Northern Ireland but willing to travel anywhere in the UK for the right car.
