WANTED: Z4 Coupe, under 40k miles, £13,000 or less

I'm after another Z4C after selling mine last year, and have a budget of up to £13,000 to spend. That is a non-haggling price, and I am willing to pay the full £13,000 for a car in good condition. I'm flexible on the specification, but don't want wood interior, and it must be a Sport.

Cash waiting for the right car.

I've been looking for a z4c for a while now. I've only ever seen two decent low mileage ones at £13k and they sold within a few days. Seen plenty of good ones around £14k though, a lot have been dropping their prices recently - I assume due to lack of interest (who wants a 2 seat sports car in winter and mid recession). Unfortunately for sellers it's a terrible time, but for us buyers it's great :)
 
To be honest, given the price of Z4 M's at the moment and the difficulty people seem to have selling them, the time of the year, the milage they're willing to accept and the model year they would also probably accept (early 2006), I would think they WOULD be able to find a Z4 3.0Si Sport for £13k. Heck, that's all one dealer offered to buy my Sept 2006 3.0Si off me for back in July 2009 with around 34k on it, although it was fairly minimum specced.

If someone wanted a no hassle sale (ie,no adverts placed )they could be tempted!

Exactly; thank you Darren. I am a genuine buyer, looking for a genuine car, at a reasonable price (for both parties). Rather than viewing cars and haggling down, I'd rather do it the other way and tell people my budget, and they may be willing to meet it (or they may not). This way, I don't indadvertedly insult anyone with what they feel is a low offer (which may be more than acceptable to another person).
 
I think its possible in a private sale. My 58 plate, 28k mile I would prbably start at £16.5k and take £16k so I think an early 2006 with nearer 40k miles @ £13k is fair.

I picked up my Z4C Se Si for £13k from a dealer about a month ago, it had 54k on it and was the lowest mileage I found around this price. Plenty pop up with 80k+ on the clock for £13k but under 40k I think you might struggle, especially for a sport. I was looking for a few months before this one popped up and I had to pretty much buy it the day the advert came out as I was finding even the higher mileage ones were selling fast.

Its great spec - but colour very bad. Fancy a grey one I think. Putting budget up to £14k think thats more realistic for a decent one. :|
 
Nope, I stopped looking. We've got an Audi A1 now just as a runabout for a bit while we save money.
