Hello,
I'm looking to buy a Z4 Coupe.
My preferred spec would be any blue or black with bluetooth, PDC and any colour leather apart from black (pref Nappa). Any other extras would be nice, but not deal clinchers.

I am not in a massive rush to buy as I don't get my licence back until 6th June for medical reasons, but being the impatient person I am, thought I would stick a wanted ad up now!

I was in 2 minds whether to look for a 350Z HR or Z4C, but the Z4C is kind of a bucket list car for me so going to bite the bullet!

I have a budget of up to £10k and located in the North East of England.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your search :)
I've got a Z4 Coupe and I can vouch that they are lovely cars

Not too fussed on the colour of the car as they all look lovely!

Try ‘Status’ he’s got a lovely Phoenix Yellow Si for sale, it’s a little above your budget but definitely worth a look, it’s in the for sale section

Firstly welcome to the forum OP.

I'm on my 2nd Coupe - they really are addictive!

Id agree with the above - the Phoenix Yellow one "Status" has for sale looks lovely. Although the seat centres are black, the side bolsters are Phoenix Yellow which works really well IMO.

By the way I wouldn't worry too much about cruise - it can be retro-fitted pretty easily. You can buy the stalk from BMW or a breaker, and forum moderator "srhutch" will make up the section of wiring loom you'll need for a very reasonable number of beer tokens!

Good luck searching, and once you've found one don't forget we like photos. :)

Thanks for the info, guess cruise isn't crucial anymore if I can retrofit.

I do like Status' car, it looks well looked after, the colour is a bit too in your face for me.
I've still got plenty of time to find one!

I know what you mean, but that's exactly why I like it! :)

In real life it’s not too in yer face but I know wot you mean,it does get a lot of good comments, being a light colour it shows off the lines better

OP, I know this is a bit higher mileage, but might it be worth considering?

Red leather looks fantastic IMO!

I wouldn't get too hung up on mileage, mine has done 120K and drives great, just make sure that you pay a price that reflects the condition, service history and mileage

Accidentally stumbled across the Z4 coupe when looking to buy a 350Z, Once I had seen the Z4 coupe the Nissan had no chance. Took me about 6 months to find the right one (montego blue, manual, black leather, silver trim) in the right mileage/price range, but have had it for 4 months and still loving it with no regrets!

Good luck with your hunt.

I've always loved the shape of them, I'm only just getting to an age where I can afford to run and maintain one!! The hunt goes on!

Nice choices OP - by way of inspiration I've added a photo of mine! Montego Blue with Pearl Grey leather - just the job!

And I wouldn't bother with Bluetooth - it'll probably only pair with a phone from the era of the car, and even I don't have a mobile that old! There are other options, I've seen mention of Parrots and Intravee but I'm way too old to know anything about that stuff.

Regarding PDC, some sellers (especially traders) don't seem to spot it but you can usually tell from the photos if it has the sensors in the rear bumper.

On the subject of other options you really want to look for a Sport model as they have the M-Sport seats, whereas the SE models came with "Sport" seats which are anything but "sporty"! But some SEs did have the M-Sport seats so are still worth looking at. Bi-xenon headlights are also very useful - the standard lights are pretty cr*p!

But No, it isn't for sale (and anyway it's done 85K miles).

Can someone have a look at this ad please?
Description says it's an SE, but it looks like it has sport seats (heated), steering wheel, wheels and bumper?

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classi...ngine-size=3.0&make=BMW&sort=price-asc&page=1

So that car has, Sports Seats and Steering Wheel

18inch MV2's

It also has an Aero front bumper and Areo side skirts

It looks like a sport to me, or has at least had most of the sports bit fitted.

The front drivers side headlight needs looking at though and fixing!

Not many red coupes out there.
Seems reasonably priced for the spec and mileage.
Could be worth a look.

looks a nice spec car, not seen a coupe with the aero front before, quite like it
I don't understand these dealer adverts without any detail though, how hard can it be to write how much service history, recent work done and owners it's had

That looks a cracker for the year / miles / price & with the aero skirts + front bumper is pretty unique .
Getting hold of the vin will confirm all via www.bmwvin.com , it stands like a Se but appears to have anthracite headlining which would indicate Sport spec .
Certainly worth investigating & in all honesty Se or Sport with that car is of little relevance , , if it appeals get after it , some AUC E86s on 50k are £13k & over
