Welcome Andy & enjoy the search , ive had 2 ZC autos & they are a great performer with the 262bhp :driving:
I wouldn't let the 2-3 owners prevent considering a potential vehicle though , 11yrs old , quite rare & already narrowing your options RE mileage & we know from cars changing hands on this forum that low logbook numbers whilst desired can be irrelevant to current condition + history

Yeah I'd agree with that. Limiting owners to as low as that on an 11 year old car is a sure fire way to rule out a lot of good cars.

A lot of these cars were originally registered by BMW UK as staff cars .. note the Yorkshire plates

The case of mine ..

1st owner BMW for 6 months
2nd owner for 3 years
3 and 4 two owners about a year each
5th owner a forum member and enthusiast who owned it for nearly 5 years
6th owner... Me

But .. the car has clearly been cherished and is mint covering about 4K a year since new

I wouldn’t worry about owners it’s about condition and history, after all these cars are at least ten years old

Sports cars and two seaters do tend to change hands more frequently than “regular” cars as people scratch that itch

But .. if it’s been through “enthusiast” owners who kept it sorted it’s better than a neglected one owner car

As an example further up my road is a one owner 19k Si Roady that sits outside an empty garage in all weathers and has mould growing out of the panel gaps and a green roof .. makes me want to cry every time I look at it :(

I'd echo what others have said about not worrying too much about the number of previous keepers.

Cars like this tend to change hands fairly often either because the itch has been scratched, or a change in circumstances - like becoming a parent!

Good choice. Once you find it you will love it.
ps I am owner number 7 on mine. As everyone says look at condition, plus getting the colours and options you want.
