Wanted: Z4 coupe 3.0

Hi, this is my first post but im sure that will change when the time comes and ive got a Z4!

I work as a technician at a BMW specialist and Ive been a member on M3cutters for a while but recently my e46 M3 hasnt been giving me the same tingle it used to so ive decided to put it up for sale in a few weeks time when ive fitted a few more lovely parts to it, im also selling my cooper s to add to the funds...

Anyway, in around 4-6 weeks ill be searching for a Z4 coupe to replace them, i dont have enough cash at the minute to buy one but if anyone is thinking of selling in the not too distant future please feel free to get in touch and give me a heads up, im happy to find myself a car from the usual places but would much prefer a member owned car for obvious reasons!

Ill be looking for a Coupe with the 3.0 n52, colour is not overlly important but im not a massive fan of blue. Red leather gets me all giddy so that would be a lovely bonus. Sport seats are a must. Also nav is quite high on the wanted list (i love my raspberry Pi!) but not a deal breaker. Mileage isnt important provided its reflected in the price, i would always buy a car on condition and history rather than numbers.

Modifications dont scare me, neither does a car which needs work, brakes, servicing or has engine issues again provided its reflected in the price.

Ideally i have around 8-10k to spend, could stretch further for the right car but i have big plans for it so dont want to spend all my money on the car!

Soooo if anyone is planning on selling but in no hurry or needs time to say good bye let me know!

Cheers

I have a 2007 coupe for sale in silver with full BMW service history and 33k miles. Getting the wheels refurbished on Thursday and will post more pics on the advert as per the advice from fellow forum members. 4-6 weeks is fine for me but I understand that it doesn't tick all your boxes.

It looks lovely mate, it'll be an excellent buy for someone but its a little too low mileage and a little more than I could spend on the car.

I've not decided as yet if it's going to have a supercharger or an n54 engine swap so it would be a travesty to take the engine out of such a low miles car!

Welcome to the madhouse OP.

Thankfully you wouldn't like mine as it is pretty blue! (Replying to a wanted post last year is how I ended up selling my first one, realising what I had done made me find my current one).

Went for blue because I didn't want a shade of grey/silver/black (even if they are best with red leather) and I'd still be waiting now for a Bright Red or Phoenix Yellow Coupe!

Hope you find one you like soon.

We have a sea of blue cars at the workshop and we've just picked up a new ish m5 in Monte Carlo... So, although i have nothing really against a blue car, i wouldnt want to blend in too much...

Im in no real hurry to find a coupe, its going to be a little bit of a project for me but it would be nice to have something lined up for when ive sold my current toys!
