I had 6 cracked 326 M Sports....the tyres and London roads to blame......

326's have been re- designed last few years. Will remove the rft's when there done. Looking forward to get my Michelin pss on mine. :D

I have read reviews saying that the 19 inch wheels give the Z a very hard ride and to avoid fitting them, but after checking out what they looked like I love them. A really gorgeous wheel, how much are a set of these and are they proper BMW or just aftermarket?

THIS
is the cheapest 35 with red leather on the BMW AUC website.
(Possibly because it has wood interior)

Or maybe THIS

The first example has a vile wooden dash and the second one which I love doesn't have sat nav which I do want so both non starters.

I drove a Z with the 19 inch wheeels and runflats, then a z with 19 in wheels and non runflats, and then a z with the 18 inch wheels and run flats I chose the car with 18s and swapped the tyres to non run flats. For me that was the best combination as the ride is more supple, comfortable and way less crashy.

Hi Luke

I know that the Z looks better with 19 inch wheels but I have read so many reviews saying that the 19 inch wheels give the car a really crashy ride and to go with the 18 inch wheels, and I reckon that the car I find will have 18 inch wheels on and I know they would be fine for me

Even on OEM suspension, my E86 was bloody uncomfortable on 19" wheels and far better on 18s. It's a hundred times worse with my current set up but the handling is sublime and it looks incredible...

A wooden dash can be changed if the car is otherwise right. It might even allow you to strike a favourable bargain if it remains unsold for a protracted period.

Thanks for that and as much as the car looks great on 19 inch wheels I would opt for the 18 inch wheels and as for that wooden dash that car doesn't have sat nav and I do want that :)

17" wheels with good quality run-flats seems just great overall so far.

Whatever feels best for you is good but I wouldn't want to put a smaller wheel on it than the 18 inch that it comes with.

After many comments on here I have changed my WTB to the 35is and not the 35i as it seems they are fairly close pricewise used so I might as well get the better car  so has anyone got a 35is coming up for sale.

Yep you are right, I paid £22500 for it at the end of summer but now its the end of winter,I got a very good deal on it but I have spent a little bit of money on it also. If it makes you feel any better I sold my 911 for £44k its now for sale for £53k :D

Still looking and as lovely as Normans car is it isn't the one for me but I have upped my budget to get a newer car maybe two to three years old so what have you got :)

Andy is sorted with a lovely car but I am now on the hunt!

I am sort of sorted just waiting for the dealer to get the V5 back from the DVLA as it was on a private plate but it is taking ages to get it back

Just checked my emails and my enquiry and deposit was done on January the 8th :o it really takes time to get a V5 back doesn't it but then the DVLA are pretty useless aren't they.
