Dear members

Newbie here:)

After initialy searching for an e46 m3 manual for the best part of three months, i have realised that these cars in - good condition and reasonably priced - are too few and far between.

After reading about rave reviews about the z4 coupe, i have now switched my preference :)

I'm after a z4 coupe manual, preferably under 65k miles with a solid service history and good condition. I am not fussed if its sport or se, nor do i have colour preference.

My budget is circa 9k but can stretch on this. I live in west london but am willing to travel.

Please do get in touch

65k for £9k could be a tight one but being open to the Se could be your joker there as they do go for less money generally speaking
Best of luck in your quest & feel free to post up any possibles & keep a eye on the coupe watch thread

thanks mate.

I saw this on autotrader but unfortunately sold for 9k.

ofcourse i am willing to stretch for the right car (especially if sold by someone on this forum).

He could have cleaned the engine bay
Rare car that in Stratus grey but the seller was slightly economical with the truth in his description  the springs are not the only difference from sport to se :( more importantly its the sport seats that usually set the cars apart & whilst the ride height is a relatively cheap mod the sourcing + fitting of sport seats is 2/3 X that cost  also worth looking for one with MFSW

Hi, no sale thread at the minute, I need to fit the original stereo back in it before I take any sales pics (as I'll be fitting my stereo in my next car). It's really well looked after, I bought it from BMW in 2012, as I walk to work it's pretty much been a weekend car which is why the mileage is so low. Full service history, always filled up with Shell Optimum. Seats don't have any wear, it's pretty much as new. I'll see if I can take some pics this weekend but it won't be for sale until I swap the stereo back over. I really like the car but we're starting to think about starting a family so I need to think about a 'sensible' car now :(

ok, nice one.
keep us posted re a sale thread with pics and specs, history etc. could well be interested. located in holland atm but want a uk car. my old fella's been to see a few for me but has negged them on certain issues. he's a bit pickier than i am as he's applying his own exacting buying criteria. lol
let's keep in touch....

My partner may be selling her Coupe in the near future, it was on here before but she changed her mind.
This was the ad i put up previously. Nothing has changed, except for the wheels have been fully refurbished, i've fitted an aux input and BMW recently fitted a new battery.

Its absolutely mint, not a mark on it.

Rather belated welcome OP.

Manual Coupe is a great choice (although I may be biased).

As has been said you will struggle to find one with under 65K miles for £9,000 - I paid nearly that last May for my latest Coupe with 78K miles (after foolishly agreeing to sell my first with 62K miles for a fair bit over your budget)!

However you may find an SE with the mileage you want in budget, but I personally don't think the standard (Sport) seats do the car justice - M-Sport seats are so much better! Plus SEs tend to come in weird colour combinations like dark metallic green with tan seats and wood trim. :o

Anyway I hope you find one you like, then you can post some photos!

Mine may be up for sale, not had it long but am considering a M2.

2006 se with msport seats in a dark red with silvergrey paint.

It has 53k on the clock, currently in process of full suspension refresh including new mayle hd lower arms poly bushed control and trailing arm bushes and bc coilovers to drop it a little as se's sit a bit high standard.

Transmission and engine oil change, brake fluid flush and change, spark plugs auxiliary belt and tensioner. Cdv deleted, steering rack and uj joints cleaned and regreased.

Ive carried out all the work myself (qualified bentley tech)

Clean inside and out.

Would only sell for 10k though
