Wanted Z4 3.0si Coupe Auto

Hello all
I am new to this for forum and I am looking to buy a Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe Auto in Black (UK).

The ideal spec would include:
Sat Nav
Heated M sports seats
Auto gearbox
Mileage upto 70K
18inch alloys
Acoustic parking sensors
Black paintwork.

Please could any owners advise on any problems or issues i should look for when viewing vehicles? I intend to have the RAC inspect the car if I find a good one, but initially i intend to view and check myself first, before comitting to an inspection.

Lastly - does anyone have or know anyone with a 2007-2008 model for sale?? It must be in very good condition with service history etc - I know you all look after your Z4's on here..

Thanks for your help...

Not an owner "yet" but ditch the RAC inspection and take it to a BMW Specialist close to where its being sold for a proper inspection. If a seller wouldn't let me do that I would walk away and find another one mate.

Why should you expect a seller to be put out on your behalf ?
I certainly would'nt agree to this when selling my car :?
No problem to send a reputable form of inspection to my house where i would watch what goes on but no way would i trundle my car off for a 3rd party to poke & prod it

Yes, I would like the 'peace of mind' with a report to highlight any potential problems (although things can go wrong anytime with cars!!)
I dont wan't my admiration of the sweet body and power of the coupe being soured by a big bill in the first few months of ownership.

+1 on this. Even if I was in a rush to sell this would be too much of a PITA.

Judging on whats available on the market right now, you may be able to pick up a car with 60% of that spec for your budget (within mileage)..

Might be a bit of a wait to find exactly what you want. My car fits the bill but has more spec and has done 46k. If I were to list if for sale now it would be up at £13,500...

Now the proud owner of a 2007 Z4 Coupe Auto finished in Carbon Black, with beige leather, bmw split rims 108's i think, wooden dash and sat nav.. Will try and post a picture over the next week or so. Its a fantastic drive! (drove 200 miles to view and 200 miles of smiles home when i collected!)

The previous owner had the DSC module replaced five days before i collected the car, so this is under warranty for two years!
At the moment the car feels too quick :o

:driving:
