Hi Guys

Firstly I hope I have posted this in the correct area!

I currently have a 987 Boxster 2.7 2006. I am looking at selling this or PX with cash my way for a BMW Z4 3.0L Manual. I had a z4 a few years ago and found it a great car. The reason for selling the Boxster is I am due to be getting married next year, so ideally I wanted to get some equity from the sale.

I wondered if any would be interested in a part exchange, I am looking for £9990 for my car and I am looking for a Z4 of a value of up to £5500.

good luck with that, nice boxster but a pretty rich valuation imho, I looked at a lot as i was torn between one of these or a zed, I know valuations vary a lot but for me the deal your offering is heavily weighted in your favor...best of luck to you though
 
With regards to the price, mine is currently one of the cheaper 987 Boxster available, on Pistonheads, and mine actually has Air conditioning which works where so many do not.

I agree there may not be many people wanting to swap their Z4 and a chunk of cash, but I thought I would post it on the off chance!
 
Also worth pointing out that if the car was built after September 2006 then it should have the upgraded IMS bearing which all 2007 model year 987's did. This is a significant selling point over a 54/05/55 plate Boxster.

I would get the front wheel refurbed as it lets down an otherwise very attractive car in my opinion.

The car was registered in December 2006. I agree the wheels would benefit from a refurbishment.

Thank you, and yes this is definitely the worst time of year to try and sell, but I am in no rush and can wait to spring, lets see what happens!

Maybe a bad time to sell but if you are PXing for another convertible then I dont suppose it would make much difference. Really nice looking car by the way but think I prefer the Z4!
