Forty quid! Kin ell! And its not even the whole thing.

Jetskidia that looks like just the brackets that fix to the rollover hoops....the full kit would have the boot mountings as well plus the two inserts that go inside the rollover hoops to complete the install. I'm also not sure if you don't need replacement hoop covers as well......

I bloody hate these tight-arsed feckers who rip these things off when they sell their cars and then try and sell them as if they're somehow functional. Mean-spirited barstewards. :thumbsdown: :thumbsdown:
 
lacroupade, not my ad dude. Just one I came across when looking for one for myself. I ended up buying the complete kit from Joe at Sopers for £309. As for not needing new roll hoops, you would need the exact position for the holes needed to drill in the existing ones. As for just putting in the middle part, I think this would be a false economy as I think the biggest difference is made by the two small inserts in the middle if the hoops.

Didn't think it was for a second mate - hope you didn't think my comments were pointed at you, especially as you've been through the same pain! :thumbsup:
 
If you want I can measure where the holes need to be drilled for the deflector carrier. Yo need to be exact though as the carrier screws into holes on the black plastic mount that the roll hoops fit on. If ya need a set of hoops to experiment with have a look in the buy and sell section as the ones I removed (you get pre-drilled ones with the kit) are in there.
 
Even the full kit doesn't come with the boot rails.

My boot kit was only a tenner though and wouldn't have thought the fitting kit should be any more than that either.

Try you local stealer direct.

The one I got from Sopers did. Although I can't see it ever being used :)

Ditto - the one I got from Oxford BMW did - and I use it all through the winter when the HT is on or when the temperature is really high, like driving in France. :driving:
 
I have one mate. I bought that one off eBay and it turned out I already had one! 20 quid do you? Serves me right for not doing research haha.

A fitting kit. It has two plastic plate things and 4 screws iirc. It's basically the 40 quid kit on eBay :-)
