Hi All,

I have a trip from Holland to Italy in a few weeks and cruise control is definitly a must.
At the BMW dealer here in Holland, I ordered the Cruise Control Stalk (EU BMW Part Number: 61 31 6 940 989) 3 weeks ago! No one has them in stock and BMW in Germany is expecting them to arrive 11th of August (a month from now!!). :headbang: :headbang:

Can anyone help me with a cruise control stalk (EU BMW Part Number: 61 31 6 940 989) please   I'm willing to pay a good price for it. Thank you!

  Just called Joe at Soper BMW...they have none in stock and are dependend on BMW germany as well to deliver

Does anyone have alternatives? Much appreciated...thanks.

Any snags with international shipping get it sent to me (my car already has so I won't nick it!) and I'll happily post it on for you.

I will sell you mine if you want?

I don't use it because it has never worked with my car.. (it might not work at all, in which case ill refund you)

id want full price for it though...

This may sound wierd, but maybe you could make one for temporary purposes. The only time I use the button on the end of it is to resume. Other than that, I push forward to set and accelerate and push back to slow down. Up and down to turn off the cruise. it may be worth looking into..

How easy is it to fit these things ?

Is it a case of plug & play ? or do you re to get the ECU programmed by BMW

I read somewere that the cowling is a waste of money as the standard cowl has the lines to cut out for it.

I've got an 06 Z4 coupe 3.0 si sport

Good news! :D I've found a 2nd hand CC stalk here in the Netherlands. It comes from a damaged 2004 Z4.

Thank you all for helping!
