WANTED: Stratus Grey Z4C

Hi All,

Hopefully this is will be my first post of many to come!

I am in the market for a Z4C 3.0, and I can't help but think I'm being a bit with the spec I'm looking for, as I can't seem to find the right one.

Here's what I'm looking for...

- It almost certainly has to be Stratus Grey, with less the 80k on the clock

- It has to have sports seats, and ideally these would be Red, Black or VGC Cream (as they can look tatty quite quickly).
I have seen a model with Brown seats, and a black interior, and it looks different but nice.
I'm not a fan of beige interior, especially when the dashboard remains black as they have done in the Z4C

- For now, I'm holding out for a model with Sat Nav.
Perhaps someone can shed some light on whether the factory one has become outdated?

- Also, for now, I am looking for an Auto gearbox, due to the type of miles I'm currently doing (lot's of traffic!)
This would be my first auto car, so I've not entirely convinced myself on this matter, and would eventually consider a very tidy manual if it had all the other features I'm looking for.

- Obviously condition and service history matter as well

- My Budget is £10,000 for now, willing to go marginally higher for the right car.

If you have any suggestions, or would consider selling you car (if the spec matches) - I'd love to hear from you!

Thanks for having me here!
David

Good luck with the search. Stratus Grey with Red or Amerone seats is simply stunning.

The NAV is dated but offers some great tools when coupled with an Intravee

An old ad with images just to whet your appetite

Could we break a record here for the quickest sale

Haha, I wish that could be the case!

I still need to offload my 116i M Sport first though!

And although the one for sale is fairly priced, it is just out of my budget for the time being.

Welcome to the forum. From reading your post, were you aware that all coupes (apart from the M) have the same 3.0si engine.

Thanks Marlon,

I was, but I just wanted to make sure that you guys knew I wasn't after the Z4MC ;)
Although I would love one, the consumption and maintenance costs of the S54 is not something I could keep up with.

Thanks for your reply...

Given the chance, I would snap that up one up in a heartbeat!

It was a good one....I owned it twice, as I purchased it back from the chap I sold it to.

Still the best colour car & leather combo IMHO. Wish my M had amarone, really lovely.

Good to see someone who knows exactly what he wants and has possibly found it too! Well done!

Thanks!

But unfortunately Batchad's very fairly priced Z4C is just out of my budget even if I push it a little!

After a long discussion with my friend, an Auto trans and Sat Nav are probably no longer necessities for me based on my mpg needs and my intolerance of anything other than google maps!

Think about this long and hard - because for me the Auto was a necessity and im so glad I didnt go manual. It was just as good and better than a lot of the manual owners cars on this forum in terms of MPG. I do agree with the comments above that the nav isnt the best. Mobile phone Google maps navs are better. However its centrally located and pop up design is good. The screen itself is great for being able to see the computer, radio stations etc and was great to have.

Try and stretch your budget? I doubt you will ever regret it whereas not going for what you want Im certain you will regret it.. GLWTS
