Wanted Specific Coupe

My thoughts are that it's £1500 over the price I've agreed for a buyer on my Z4M.

Stupid high price for a 3yr old 3.0l
how did you up the price, yours was for sale for £14k less a bag of maltesers at the end wasn't it?

Hi mudge,

Looks a nice car and well spec'd for an SE. Well priced too. I was looking for 108's and a piano black finish but nearly there.

You are quite far from me though (Im in London), but will contact you if I get anywhere will selling my 2 cars..

If you are after a Specific car - then you should be prepared to travel.

The last 6 cars I have bought have all be down in deepest Englandshire.
I live in Edinburgh.

The Z4c I bought in April was just south of Birmingham. Train down, taxi and then a nice wee drive home - the best way you will ever get to know your new car.

(Furtherest away was Southampton)

I'm afraid not, has to be a black car sorry not a fan of silver / grey.

The car I was referring to is the one for sale at BMW Chiswick (less than a mile from me) but the car originated from Edinburgh..

Maintanance £250?

I'd have thought it would be a fair bit more than that for servicing, tyres and repairs each year.

I've had my Z4M for about 2 months, now.

£253 on 6 months tax
£54 on MOT
£750 on tyres
£150 on various upgrades
Service will be due in 3,000 miles... £?

Thanks for the input Dan, my maintenance figure was taken from the halfords site estimation. You're right an M would definitely be more. I hadnt considered tyres though you're right. What is the life expectancy of the run flats? I've never had to change more than 1 tyre on any one of my 5 cars in my 8 years of driving..

Depending upon conditions and type of mileage, you can expect to see 15k miles for rear tyres and 20-25k for fronts.

Ok so front tyres on average are £254 a pair every 4-5 years for me
Rear tyres on average are £300 a pair every 2-3 years which means

A yearly value of £184 should be allocated to tyres bringing maintenance to £444 per annum for a 3.0 sport..

Also looking back at my calculations I cant really see what I'd spend £250 per annum on upgrades for anymore..

I've decided to flog the E24 on ebay in January after its MOT'd and taxed so I will be looking for my perfect z as of then..

Been looking for just under 2 months, in that time I've found 2 cars spec worthy to tempt me but bother were overpriced in my opinion and not 100% what I wanted.. so the search continues.. I will keep an eye out for you too

Did you travel far to get yours Taz?

no, only 20 miles, but i would have done

i once bought a mazda in southampton which was a 5 hour trip, 10 hours round trip plus time sorting out paper work made it a long day, nice ride back though

Not quite what I was looking for but considering this coupe at the moment:

http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/bmwauc/details/0,,1156___ask-18%40adm-xx,00.html?ch=_V0JBRFU1MjA0MExFOTAxMDM=&btp=2x12-price_DESC

They have offered me a p/x for my BMW which isnt too bad..

Thoughts? I was thinking £12k minus the p/x on my BMW :D
