Yea I think the initial saving and year on year savings will hopefully allow me to keep saving for the deposit.

I've driven one z4c so far (auto) and it was a very firm ride but I was impressed by the performance and the sound.

Yes you're right about the looks (although I love the front valance on the M), about not being in a rush (which is why Ive priced my cars well I think) and I will travel for the right one, although NI is probably further than I would have gone haha (I live in London too).

My insurance (30 in Bath) is only £460, but i'd say your servicing estimate for the ///M is too low.

My commute is 27 miles and I can average 31mpg in the ///M if the traffic is willing and I'm not right foot heavy. The worst I've seen is 23. I do 9 miles on the motorway, 1.5 on b roads, and 3 in stop start traffic.

Thanks Daffy, I took the service estimates for the zeds from the Halfords site and knew they wouldnt be accurate.

I work 1 mile away from home so try to walk everyday but occasionally I have to drive and currently get 10-20mpg depending on the car.

For a proper journey I wouldnt worry too much though..

Went to see a car this morning at BMW.

Car was immaculate with the exception of a few stone chips on the nose.

Priced at £18,995

The only thing that wasnt 100% to what I wanted was that it had the brushed aluminium interior..

Naturally they wanted me to do a deal on the car there and then but the price is just a lot more than I had initially considered spending..

Thanks guys, I was very nearly pressured into buying it today but I do need to get rid of my 2 cars first and it was more than I was looking to spend.

Hopefully I will sell my cars in the next 6 months and during that time find a similar spec car around £15k..

There has to be some red to the interior if not a complete red interior.

Too much black! I didn't know there was such a thing!

My top choice was black exterior with black interior, but I had to give in on the exterior colour in the end. Happy hunting!

Looks a nice car and well spec'd for an SE. Well priced too. I was looking for 108's and a piano black finish but nearly there.
