Will, there are a FEW, and I mean a few. I remember seeing this 23i a few weeks back. Didn’t hang around long at all

My first attempt to buy a AY E89 was a 30i…
It was on sale only for 4 hours back in 2017 before it sold…
Then I realised you could re-map the 20i to outrun the 30i (but that’s a separate much discussed story) so went with the 20i.
I’ve seen only a few as Andy said…the colour was pretty rare across all variants but probably from what I’ve seen the 30i doesn’t come up for sale very often..probably seen 2 or 3 23i for every 30i…
LHD versions are much more numerous…
a 23i was sold by me about 6 months ago - the guy actually solid to Vogue Auto I think as it did not sell privately

The 23i and 20i were the most popular models in the UK by far..about 5 to 1 (each) compared to the other models.
AY versions represent on average about 1% of all E89s..
So you’re looking at a rare colour…AY 35i or 35is come up about once or twice a year..of course 2 could appear tomorrow

Someone at a BMW specialist last year remarked on never having seen a Z4 in orange before. Then his colleague piped up with "they did them in yellow as well, but they're really rare!".
To be honest, I'm not sure I've ever seen any e89 in AY in the flesh...

AY was a launch colour and was available in all markets AFAIK, it was very popular in North America..
The LCI was when the AY was replaced with VO.
Atacama Yellow 1,294 made worldwide out of 116,045 E89s
35is AY 258 made for worldwide sale..I would think there are less than 10 in the UK.
VO numbers were slightly higher AFAIK against rapidly declining sales of E89s so as percentage there is higher percentage of newer E89s in VO

Not many goodies either..no heated seats, no PDC, 6 speaker basic audio, no idrive, no cruise (I assume limited bluetooth)..non msport..good news nice and light for a 30i..
