Have you considered just having yours welded, pick a specialist and should be as good as new and probably much cheaper.

there is a local specialist but I need something to get down there with, he isnt keen on me driving over (sensible chap) also not sure how long it may take? One place quoted me two days as they get sent off but i cant leave my car there as he has no room!
