Wanted: Rpi exhaust

I looking to buy a set of Rpi's but keep missing the them.
Please give me the heads up if you are selling.

keep an eye on ebay us mate. I just bought a pair for $600 + 150 delivery. They took a while to sell as the ad was simply titled

"Bmw exhorst''

With a limited description, but recognised them.. Took a punt, the guy didn't speak good english and only had 10 feedback, the tracking number for number for USPS didn't work, but low and behold they showed up 10 days later in mint condition.
 
Thought I needed more noise, but a run out today through enclosed woodland canopy bounced all the noise back to the car & felt a little sheepish as to the 4k noise I created overtaking a cyclist. Sounded great, but guessing despite being fully in the oncoming lane, he may have thought differently. First time I've ever been wowed by the noise, loved it!

Although when not enclosed, I do still crave a little more pops & bangs, like my JCW used to do on overrun.

:P don't bother mate , i think i can work it out :oops: i just don't get why folks want them ? :?
There are countless posts of guys chasing them , fitting them & susequently selling them
I studied long & hard all options which is what prompted me to go for a bespoke set that reflected what i wanted from the car
Namely useable at low revs through the cul de sacs of home but under throttle gives out a noise that i thought a M car should have .
Couldn't be happier with my BCS boxes , i'm going to try out their Prestige set up for comparison but for me now my car has some aural character whilst still being able to talk to passengers,use the phone or listen to radio
 
I struggle to use the bluetooth phone with any quality with std exhausts & also on my non-M coupe, am I expecting too much as my only basis is an F10 for full bluetooth phone quality?
 
The noise is epic it's just not for me,,,on full chat there's nothing to touch em and CHRIST they look good on the car to just a bit more than I wanted,,,I will be looking to source some other boxes...

That's another feature that's personal preference , for me the larger pipe/smaller pipe wasn't happening at all :cry:
They may be quality made but i wanted as much a stock look as possible & the RPIs look anything but

Yep pretty much , if they'd put the same effort into the functionality as the looks & finish they would be creaming it :wink:
 
Im really excited to get them fitted now, for me if like the sound it can be as loud as it wants. If I don't like the sound, I wouldn't want it at any volume level.... Simple :)
