Hi all, I'm just stepping out of a Boxster and looking for a 3.0 si manual as a weekend car if anyone is thinking of selling. I don't really want to go over £9k but hope I can get a clean reasonable spec facelift for that? Is there much of a summer price hike as i can wait until autumn if it's worth it? :)

Always a blip in prices RE summer / winter but not extortionate by any means
Maybe add a brief summary of criteria & welcome , very decent examples do come up here that don't get advertised elsewhere
PM sent about a possible car for you

I'm not sure on spec as being a newbie I don't know what is standard on the Si  Colour wise my preference is black or grey with black leather. Sat nav and electric seats are a preference but not a deal breaker.

I just bought a pretty mint 2006 3.0si Sport roadster in silver. 45k miles, a new roof motor and full history etc and I paid £7750 from an independent dealer.

Mine has electric leather and upgraded brakes but unfortunately no heated seats or nav. Only bad point is the headlights have gone a bit foggy.

Just thought it might help give you an idea on prices/budget. Good luck with your search

Yeah it has. Sport models have them and the m sport steering wheel as standard I believe. Seems to be I have one of the very few without heated seats though!

Wrong colour and not a fan of the interior personally, but looks a tidy car and a decent price?

That's a nice motor at fair money , the MB with light grey looks a treat to me , just needs decent prep & pics to catch it right

I've looked at that ad a few times and it does look like a good buy but I can't warm to the colour combo.....and as of tomorrow this household will be a soft top free zone :o

I should be sorted for a car now. Complete change of plan and opting for an E89 found on the forum :driving:

Interesting turn  behind the wheel less engaging to drive than Si roady but can't see why you should be disappointed
Look forward to the pics

Good choice pastry, still got the musical 6 pot engine which means the sterio is redundant :D
I may see you on the dark side myself one day
