Wanted: Rear springs Coupe

Hi All,

I'm looking for some rear springs for my Coupe which currently looks like a dog dragging its bum across the floor.....

I'm not aware that it has M-Sports suspension as an option but I have read that all UK Coupes had this as standard :|

It's a daily driver so I'm not too concerned about lowering it but I'll consider any offers for what ever you might have....

I only have one I'm afraid which is about 4k miles old which you could have had. It's a standard OEM spring off the 3.0si Sport Coupe. I was led to believe the Sport was lower than an SE - but somebody will be along to confirm that no doubt.

I bought my Zed and the seller only replaced one rear spring - which meant the other one broke almost immediately!! At this point I sacked off paying for OEM springs and went with Eibachs which do lower the ride slightly. They also improve the handling and front end feel dramatically. I paid about £250 all round fitted. Mine is also a daily driver and isn't too low IMO.

If you want to go the route of replacing the OEMs and think the nearly new one I have will help then please PM me.
 
I have a full set of 3.0 si sport coupe springs. Rears look as if they were replaced look like new pm if your interested. :thumbsup:
 
Well you did ask mr Newbers :) a selection of finely coiled springs .
checked my broken one out today when i collected car from MOT . broken bit was maybe 3 inches from the bottom .
disappointing so many fail after relatively low miles :thumbsdown:

Woody, mine is an Si SE as opposed to Si Sport so it doesn't have the M-Sport suspension.

miln0039, I think your offer is probably closest to what I'm looking for - well half of it anyway! If I can find another low OEM spring for an SE that would be great.

Z4M-2006, Thanks for the offer but I understand the Z4M to be quite different.

Doctor999 - thanks for message. I'm going to try to find out whether these would be the same springs - I'll PM you when I find out...

Hi chap..


Z4M rear springs will fit any Z4.... Although they are different on ride height and spring rate than standard models.

Thanks for confirming. Not having to change the fronts or mess about getting the alignment reset are fairly high on my priority list at the moment (as is self preservation amidst Hertfordshire's pot holes!)
