It's me again :D and after a recent visit to a mechanic who is a friend of a friend and get a bit impatient with my car OCD :D I found out I need a new passenger side rear spring as it would probably be picked up on my coming MOT.
Anyone has a new one for sale? Do I need to change the rubber caps too?

Should really change both sides, not just one.

Don't need new rubber caps, but wouldn't hurt to get some if you wanted to.

You could try realoem.com for the part number or ring Sopers at Lincoln who will tell you the price less 10% forum discount and free postage.

I've checked realoem.com but all it says is "The choice of proper coil springs depends on the options installed on your vehicle. Refer to your local BMW dealer for details."
I was hoping someone who's already swapped his springs to advise what the part number might be.

Just ring Sopers they'll tell you!!

Right, I've spoken with a guy from Sopers and the best price for a pair was close to £180 and this includes the forum discount so I've done some searching through the forum and found out that Suplex are actually supplying better than the OEM springs so I gave them a call and £90 later (including delivery) I will have new springs this Friday :driving:

If anyone is interested the part number I got from BMW for my 2004 2.5i 192BHP standard suspension is 33536760605 and Suplex have their own part number which is 06227 which is also listed in their catalogue.
