WANTED - REAR LIGHTS

Anybody have the 'white spot' rear lights and a white brake light for a pre-facelift car they would like to get rid of ?
 
You mean like the ones in my sig pic? There are some facelift style lights for prefacelift cars on German eBay which may interest you.

Bit off topic but is the belt holder on the top of the seats in you car not a plastic chrome?
 
yep, however wont the reverse light be on the wrong side ?.....does that mean that i have to turn my foglight on when i reverse ?

as for the seatbelt holder it s a plastic chrome/metal effect, almost a grey rather than a polished chrome though ?...why do you ask ?

Just noticed the wheel arch gap on yours ? im assuming your parked on a hill otherwise there is something seriously wrong with the suspension setup.

You are right of course. I was more pointing you to German Ebay and the search terms required to see the range they have from white spot, clear, replica facelift, etc.

I have a set as below and need to get the RHS with white spot and would then install a chrome bulb that shines red. (Don't ask where I got mine as it's the only mod done on the car when I got it, so I assume UK BMW as that's where the guy purchased everything) Trouble is I'n not about to pay E200 and chuck all but one light unit.

What do you mean? You can buy a single rear light though for about £80?

Not unless I've not understood or misread. I've only seen full sets listed for Euro 200. I'd be happy to buy just a single RHS light with twin white spots, for a reasonable price, if I can find one.
 
I am passing a German dealer next week on the trip so could check on the price over there?

No questions - just buy me one (twin white spot RHS) and I'll happily pay you the rate for it.

I'm also passing your house Thursday next week on my way to Hove :)
 
Thursday ... hmm, that is just the day I am going to Germany on the Harz trip !!!

From the pic you posted the clip looks flat black. There are a number of people on here who also have black plastic clip trims as oppose the chrome look. :)

The cars had literally just been taken off a jack having fit the facelift exhaust tailpipes hence it looks a bit odd! Would no doubt make interesting driving would a toe in like that!

Nice offer and of course it would make a matched pair, but I'm after the RHS with twin white spots :)

Anyone know how much a set of white lights are from a stealer, compred to the Euro 200 for the RHD versions on the Ebay link.

Thanks for that, I'm waiting on a price for the kit, rear lights, side repeaters and 3rd brake light, so that gives me a ball park figure, might see if I can get just 1 light and maybe get the german ones from the link and have the 4 white spots. might have wait though getting grief over how much I've spent lately, new brakes, springs, hardtop (needs spraying yet) and some other stuff.
