just out of interest, does anyone have any rear brakes calipers that are lying around and surplus to requirements??

That they would be willing to part with.

Oh, to fit my E85 '04 2.5...

I'm planning a calliper swap all round at some point soon and will refurb my old ones. How long can you wait?

Not in a hurry. Was just wondering if anyone had a pair so I could refurb myself.

Well if no one else comes up you can have mine to refurb when the time comes. What are they worth?

Cheers for the offer. Worth?? Haven't got a scooby.

Hi, I've a set from an 03 2.5 (have just changed my rears to 3.0). Do you want just the calipers or carriers as well? They were only taken off last month. Were working fine, as long as you don't mind them in orange! You're welcome to collect, I'm just south of Boston, Lincs. Or if you just want to cover postage.
Cheers, John.

I have a set of front calipers and discs for a 3.0l if you want them too?
The calipers will need a refresh.
The discs have done 6k miles and are m tech grooved things :)

I have a set of rear calipers and carriers from a 2005 3.0i if you fancy an upgrade? (also have the complete hubs if thats any use? Removed from 88k mile car.

Who to reply to first.....

Mat. I have already upgraded to 3.0l up front with mtec drilled n grooved also. Cheers fella. How's me tips coming??

John-4. Sounds interesting. How easy was it to upgrade to 3.0l?? If it's a pain then I'll be interested in your calipers+carriers. Pending Handy Andys response.

Handy Andy. If you have what I need to complete the upgrade could well be interested in these.

Cheers, Jak.

I maybe interested in the discs, what sort of money are you looking for.

Hi Jak, The amount of work is the same i.e swopping discs, calipers & carriers. The advantage of the 3.0 ones are a slightly larger disc, but its also vented & not solid like 2.5's. Got my calipers & carriers off ebay for £30 the pair incl. P&P. Then just bought a new set of Mintex discs & pads. Swopping them over was no problem, just clamped the brake flexi-hose, unscrewed the caliper, screwed the 3.0 one on, & then bled the brakes. Cheers. John.
