WANTED - prefacelift e85 headlight - drivers side.

I recently got a big condensation issue, then I tried the hairdryer trick but I melted the lens. :headbang:

Now there is a large swollen white patch of melted plastic on my headlight, it looks like my car has a yeast infection / acne.

PROTIP; don't leave a hairdryer unattended against your headlight while trying to remove condensation, not even for 1 minute to collect a package off the postman. :( :(
 
Thanks Anyway reaper, If my search continues for much longer I may just pay a bit more and have both sides replaced, it seems the black ones are a bit harder to come across.
 
There is a black one here, but that is Xenon. Don't know what you have.

i have condensation in my passenger side headlight and was going to give the hairdryer method a go this weekend.... gonna be extra careful now :/ any other tips or other methods you suggest?

long motorway drive in the dry with the back cover removed and lights on, replacing the cover properly when stopped sorted mine out...
 
I have the same problem...nearside, so is it better to vasaline the seal after...or turn the seal around ??? Can't seem to get rid of the condensation!!! :-(

-Thanks for that. My headlights aren't Xenon though, I wonder how difficult it would be to swap from xenon to halogen. I really don't like the Xenons but that is the right housing I'm after....

(Any help appreciated)
 
I have a drivers side lens you can have if you feel like cutting your old lens off.It will need to be collected ,I don't want any money for it,just give a donation to the forum.
