Wanted Post 2006 facelift sport Roadster

Post Late '04 cruise control wasn't prewired so it's not as easy to retrofit.
I got lucky and won a kit on ebay for ~£80. Dealers charged 2hrs labour to fit which was probably a bit over priced but I'd rather them do it than me mess it up. I think a couple of people on here have successfully fitted it themselves but requires wires to be spliced and didn't fancy it myself.
In total it was about £300 and the car is much better for it.

You have to be very lucky to get 30si Sport with all extras for £15.5k. Check the BMW website and you will see the cheapest si Sport for £17k. With some negotiations, you may get this black zed for few hundreds less.

Get a credit card with 0% interest free on purchase offer and pay it over 12 months. I think you can get £500 off easily on this black 3.0si Sport.
 
I called them already. Price is fixed, they told me that they would be sending the car to auction with a reserve of 16,995. I even offered 16k they said No.
It is a good spec.

I don't like using money that I don't have.
 
You do have a mortgage, don't you? Even houses can depreciate and you will have negative equity.

I always buy cars with loan. I can't wait until I save enough cash to buy the car I want. :P
 
I'm not surprised at that price they wont budge on price with the weather getting better it will soon be gone.
 
The Z4 I mentioned earlier in the thread is now up for sale (well on Autotrader online for now)

It's up for £17,995 with a Glass Guide valuation of £18,400 private and a BMW forecourt price of £20,400.

Still no good?

Sorry, its more than I want to pay, sounds like a good saving though. I may of found one. Should be picking it up tomorrow.

I bought it Yesterday, ( 3.0 si manual 06 in black with the 19" Alpina's) thanks to those that got in touch and offered advice. :thumbsup:

Aparently there was a waiting list of people wanting to buy it. The seller had 2 buyers do inspections on the same day. Car is mint, drove from Manchester to Hackney in London.

Funny thing is that I have been keeping a look out for Z4's on the road for the last few weeks (as you do), but didn't see one. Then within 5 miles of my house last night, I saw 4 within the space of 5 minutes. :roll:

The 19"s are not RFT on this one, the ride didn't seem bad at all.
