Hey guys, I've gathered all the parts for a DIY xenon conversion apart from the passenger side xenon headlamp (facelift). I don't need ballasts/bulbs etc.

If anyone has one laying around let me know and we'll see if we can strike a deal.

Yeah I've got the parts from all over, sensors from the Z4C getting broken on ebay. bulbs/ballasts/ignitors from a Mk5 Astra. headlight from ebay

2x ballasts + 2x ignitors + 2x bulbs = £67
2x level sensors, levers, brackets = £80
1x xenon LCM = £75
1x drivers side xenon = £80

Friendly BMW specialist near by for programming the LCM.

Doing well so far, just need the final piece :)

This one no good http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-PASSENGER-SIDE-BI-XENON-HEADLIGHT-CLEAR-INDICATOR-2006-2008-WARRANTY-/250913536938?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3a6b9cbbaa
Im doing a xenon retro fit too but on a pre facelift car, I have a clear driver side xenon that set me back £350 :( now Im after the passenger side. Like you I have sourced the other bits except the levelling sensors and was going to go the dealers for them but sod that, I like you will try and source them off a breaker! Good luck

I did spot that one, but a tad too expensive for my liking - especially with it having "repaired" brackets.

Thanks though

For what it's worth you can get the sensors from all kinds of bmw's not just z4's. If you check realoem for the part number and then "PART NR APPLICATION SEARCH" http://www.realoem.com/bmw/select.do

I had my eye on a few from an old 5 series on ebay, you can then get the brackets etc from a dealer for around £25

Also a quote from a dealer last week:
Front sensor: 57.72 + VAT
Rear sensor: 66.67 + VAT

So just the headlamp wash system to get then..... . Big task to take on hope it goes well

Cheers Rich will have a look into that  plus if I spot your wanted lamp will give you a shout
