Wanted passenger side wing mirror

Thanks for the reply mine do seem to dim when the rear view mirror does so I'm guessing mine has the option I don't really know and I have looked at that already and I asked if it was dimming and they said as far as the know it's just a standard mirror, still not sure if I should spend £80 and try and make one good out of two mirrors.

Find out. Check out your factory fitted options via the vin checker. I'm sure auto dining wing or side mirrors won't be on there. Failing that you could ask on the discussion section?
Adding a cover from your car to the new mirror isn't a bodge job. All the cover parts are interchangeable. Just screws. It makes more sense doing that, than buying a £150 mirror with housing in titan just because it's a colour match?
Either way find out before you go down a route, saves you buying anything that might not be right!

they do come with electrochromatic mirrors on some Kis, I had this option on my e39 its VERY rare and the mirror glass is VERY expensive - OP is it cut glass round the outside of the mirror or does it have a black border? Easy way to identify.
The dimmed side mirrors are an option, one of the only ones I had on my old 2.0, first buyer had strange priorities!

You'll need to take a good look at the existing one? Try and find anything that gives clues it's a dimming one. 99% of ones you'll find on eBay, the seller won't know its dimming if they're that rare. Just gotta keep a look out and then wait.
My mirrors have black boarders so not sure that's truely indicative, as mine definitely aren't dimming.

Hi all yeah mine has the S430 interior/ outside mirror with auto dip and as mentioned above mine has the boarder around it looks like I may have to stick with my mirror as it for now just worries me because I can't fold them up so it could get hit again or someone not realising may try to push them in to get past in a car park so constantly worried about coming back to find my mirror snapped off, thanks anyway for your replies
