Wanted: Original Black Aerial

It's a long shot but with all the stubbies out there it's worth asking if anyone has one surplus to requirements ...

Am looking for an original black aerial for a Z4 as mine refuses to screw off to enable me to put the car cover on. Can only assume the previous owner superglued it on. So would need the whole unit including the parts that fit inside the boot to perform a complete replacement.

Please let me know if you have one of these spare and how much you'd like for it.

Can't help with the ariel
I have just bought a 'tarpaulin' which is a mini cover for the glass areas
This to provide some added protection in sub-zero temps and help prevent glass freezing to rubber
I note that it says the cover should not be put onto wet areas else it will freeze to it and need thawing

Does your cover instruction say the same thing?

You can't put my cover on a wet car either unfortunately. Where did you source your mini-cover from? Might be an alternative idea that doesn't mean the car needs to be cleaned every time it's put away if it only covers the roof.
 
I have just the aerial part which you can have gratis. Take some pliers to yours to unscrew it, you will easily break a superglue bond. If you damage it you can have mine.

Simples.

That's really kind, thank you! I will continue trying to get the thing off with that in mind. :)

I hve the aerial off my E89 if you want it......I have a stubby on mine
 
M44rrt...where did you get this roof cover? I'm after one for the winter too. Got my old Z3 one but it's too small. Fitted with Velcro straps through tops of the doors joining in the middle and plastic clips through boot hinge area.
