As per the title, would like to acquire an Intravee, Alpine unit and all accessories I need to hook up an Iphone 4s. My CD changer has died so time to replace it. Also If someone would be willing to help me fit the unit it would be a massive bonus but I'm not expecting that - I live near Gatwick Airport

Yup, there have been two on here recently, both went for that price or thereabouts. I got one of them. Have to say that if you get one and you have a look at a couple of guides on here you'll be able to install it no problems. I am a certified technical numpty and it took me no longer than an hour 
The only thing I have not managed to do yet is update it, as it appears to have the original firmware on it still... Plays music though, which will do for now.

Il certainly give it a go but over the past month I've made several attempts of getting the boot panels removed as best as I can and they are some tough cookies (M roadster). I really don't think I would be able to get the CD changer removed with the progress I've had so far....

Get that update on then you'll have all manner of goodies at your disposal 
You can buy a brand new Intravee II from toysinyourcar.com for £150 and Alpine units with the cables are easy to pick up on Ebay second hand from around £30.
Not difficult to fit just read the guides on here and take your time. I cable tied the Alpine behind the boot trim next to the bluetooth and TV modules and drilled a small hole in the thin plastic at the back of the centre console to feed the cables through. I sat my intravee in the space where your CD changer is but you could use the space at the top where my iPod is.
