Wanted induction kit, K&N or Piper Cross etc

You should probably add what engine , , have you looked into these

Just fitted one to my TT V6 & noticeable noise & feel from 0-50mph

I'm a total mechanical numpty, but I'm sure I've read somewhere that using these types of filters cause ecu/coding issues?!? Or am I demonstrating my numptiness and imagining this..? I'd love one if they are ok

Don't bother.
Any increase will be minimal. The marketing can be misleading too. Example, if OEM filters 99% of particles out and a gauze type filters 98%, that's actually double the crap that gets through to the engine vs OEM.Although the induction kits might have improved over the eyars, often you'll have an engine sucking in warm air especially at lower speeds. The airbox designs the manufacturers use, and filters, are based on lots of £££ of research. I haven't looked at an airfilter for years but the paper ones the manufacturers use or used to use have a vast surface area compared to the cotton gauze types.

Good point, Its a 2.5
With regards to the productivity of the air filter, depends on how you set it up, I installed an AEM ram air feed on my old civic which was located in the front bumper, tuned correctly it made a fantastic difference. Just dont go through any floods or you may get into a little trouble lol

The BMC is a great filter just very expensive.

I put a k&n panel filter in the original airbox. Don't think it made a big difference, but at least it doesn't need replacing, just the odd blow through with air. Wasn't expensive either £32 I think.
