WANTED - Headlight Washer Covers / Caps

Unfortunately in the process of replacing my bumper with an M one, I lost the clips to hold on the washer jet covers. Then dafty here decided to place them on at a show to cover the holes and proceeded to drive off without removing them 🫣

I have one, fortunately found by a fellow Z owner who seen me leaving. But need a second (or will take a pair) ideally in Montego Blue, and ideally with clips in tact for attaching to washer jet. Asking here before I order new and pay for paint - also new part doesn’t seem to come with the clips and I can’t find that part number.

Thanks in advance

I couldn't find the caps anywhere other than from BMW. I think I paid about £15 for one from Sopers, but should have taken them up on their offer to supply it painted for a few more quid!

Still if these are the clips you mean this might help you out:- https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142356

BMW only sell them as part of a complete washer jet assembly. :(

After I got mine all sorted and leak free I pulled Fuse 40 to stop them working and probably breaking again! Which isn't a problem at MOT time even with Xenons if the car is registered before 1 September 2009.

Sorry I've been away and forgot to reply to this! Thanks for the responses!

Got the R - right one. So O/S. what one do you have?Colour is blue but Maldives…

Thank you mate but unfortunately it's the O/S one I have haha I think I'm gonna be best off ordering the part primered and just get it painted - I could use a few stone chips touched up too so will use that as an excuse to use up more of the paint they'll need to mix!

Thanks so much for this - have ordered a pair of those clips, absolute nightmare trying to find that part so really appreciate you sharing.

Glad you got sorted. For future reference for others the diamond part is available individually and cheaply from Volvo- see part number here https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=93136
