Wanted: headlight inner - Any condition or finish

As topic, I'd like to get hold of a headlight inner from a pre-facelift xenon light, not worried about finish or quality as it's for testing only.

Nobody got a damaged one from a cut and shut project lying around?

The inner from plastic light surround only, no other internal gubbins or hockey stick needed
 
Would still like a pair of pre-facelift single xenon inners if anyone has a spare set of parts. Black or silver is fine.

Inners only or full headlights? Do you have a pic of them? I wonder what is different on the inner compared to a Xenon, if anything.

Which part of the inner exactly, do you mean the silver painted part? If so I may have one lying around.

Preferably both sides so I can prep both and then refit to existing lights.

I'm planning an AE upgrade, but its experimental (not seen the same done here yet) so want time to perfect it without the car being off the road.
 
I may have a silver one, but only one - If I still have it, would you be interested?

Hi,

A little more cash, and work than I was intending, as I guess these need cutting open too. I'll see if any other 'already dismantled' ones are available first, less work and less cash that way.

Although failing that I may be back :roll:

hey T2FFN quick question you might be able to help me with?
is it possible to open the headlights up and clean the inside of the lens?
just bought a pair and they are pretty filthy..

Yes, but its a hell of a job involving a dremel. You'll then need to reseal with silicone. If you must open them, might as well do a few other mods like AE while in there.
