Found the bag next to useless, so thin, tears easy. Stand thought, that is well worth the pennies.

Just buy the lift/harness/pully thing and let it live in the dead space at the top of your ma-in-law's garage - also means you'll be able to mount/dismount it on your own

BMW are selling one with a bag for £300. There are a raft of 3rd party ones but I'm a naturally suspicious type and my over active imagination leads me to think I'd find it all on the floor one morning...

I haven't seen any reports of the hoists failing, the top's not that heavy so as long as you mount everything using decent fixings you should be fine

I can't put a hoist in MILs garage so it will have to be the stand.
