Hi i am in need of these hard top lock covers if anyone has a set or can advise where to get a set from .

Rare as hen's teeth.

BMW don't have any left. I think you can order from the USA, but it's been a couple if years since my search

Hi guys. Forgive me for jumping in on your post 'a11ftk', but I have followed threads like this for a long time.
I too am in need of hardtop lock covers and have been searching the Web and calling breakers yards for the last 18 months - as yet with no success. I have heard that stock exists in USA and Germany but have finally put this down to an urban myth.
This new post has given me hope though.
Can anybody give a specific link to a website ANYWHERE or ANYONE that can provide these as I have tried yet again last night to no avail. I have friends in USA and Germany so postage isn't an issue.
Please help. You have no idea how much it pains me to see those empty holes where the lock covers should be on my beautiful car.

Production continued in June/July 2011. Have found a US supplier and ordered a set at a total cost with postage to the UK of £20 - will let you know how I get on :)

Will await a confirmation of stock and despatch - have ordered like this before only to be told NO STOCK.... :|
 
In the meantime this guy has still got a pair of rear covers in Germany, 99euros. If you want them pm me your addy I will send it to him and he will contact you.

As a newbie, I'm following this closely.
If AlanJ is able to buy these and I hope he will.

ronk i paid £85 for mine, while searching i found another guy in Germany who has a pair for sale, I am not trying to make money. just trying to help someone.
