It's a lot of money for a bit of carbon fibre BlackLines. I've gone for the RPI ram air intake instead. Not carbon but the principal is the same so should improve induction sound and maybe performance (a little). $200 which is a damn site cheaper than GruppeM. I know it's engine bling but really how often are you going to pop the hood and show people, and if you do i think most will think it's a little weird!
 
I have an RPI as well, and interesting enough with that my fuel consumption has been brought down to 3.0 level as per a recent long distance roadtrip. The sound change is neglible though.
 
I would like one of these as well if i'm honest but where is the best place to get them or to find one second hand?

I got mine from Gruppe-M direct. Was the cheapest at the time (about £420 delivered) but the exchange rate was more favourable then. CA are just expensive, full-stop, so I'll be surprised if they can get one for you cheaper than going direct.
