WANTED: Facelift front bumper

hi guys.

i have just had a quote to have my front bumper sprayed but i thought i would ask if anyone has a black sapphire mettalic facelift bumper in good condition for sale?

i would prefer it if it had the bottom grill as it makes my life a little easier.

i have a set of fogs, are they side repeaters at the sides? iv always thought they were reflectors

Sure you are, but keep an eye on eBay - facelift bumper with bottom grill, no washer holes (but brackets), fog lights and reflectors, sold, £150. I've seen ones without the fog lights go for that.

actually i think you're right... they are relectors...

i tried there, got one reply and it was tatty as hell.

there is one on ebay im looking at but the guy doesnt seem to answer the question you ask him lol. if it goes for the right price il bag it and i can get it painted for next to nothing so im goin to remove the indentation for the reflectors while im there.

if one does come up im still looking

i thought they werent a direct fit? im sure i read that somewhere, i would buy one if one come up though.

how much are these kind of things from the stealer? expensive im guessing

as far as I know are a direct fit but you would lose the foglights...

You can fit them, just with no fog lights - Mister Roger has done with his and looks great with M6 alloys

I decided against an M bumper - mostly cost, but also worried I'll end up with an M rep!

EDIT: Gannet beat me to it... also, just the front bumper. Back is a real PITA because of the lights, but you knew that!

They do look look really good and fog lights are largely a waste of time!

You need brake ducts from an M, but other than that it's a straight swap.

Oh and you can't get it from the stealers, but MStyle will do it for around £630 IIRC. Second hand you're looking at around £400 for the whole project.
