Hi,

I am currently in the market for another Zed having previously owned an E86 Sport and loved it! Looking for a little more power and refinement this time hence the E89.

I have found a very well looked after 35i which is £11k but high miles. It is well spec’d with good history so remains an option but ideally would go for lower miles. It will be a weekend car so won’t be adding too many miles.

So, I have £15k ish, more for the right car and am after;

35i/35is DCT
Black/Grey/Dark Blue
Red or black leather
Adaptive suspension (not essential)
M sport (or at least seats)
Heated Memory seats
Professional Nav
18’ or 19’ wheels, ideally 326s but not essential
PDC
Wind deflector
Extended leather would be nice
FBMWSH or specialist

Give me a shout if you have or know of anything that fits the bill! I am fairly impatient once I decide to go for it but am going to try not to rush into something! :|

Yeah it does seem good and still tempted to go for it. It’s FBMWSH, one owner for life and well maintained. My only concern if resale if I as it’s got 80k on it now.... I’m torn to be honest so thought I’d see what else is out there before deciding!

It’s not an M Sport by the way, just seats.

What sort of mileage are you going to put on it and how long are you planning to keep it?

Once you hit the 100k, there will be a significant reduction in buyers, but if you only do 3k a year or so it would be ok.

Not a huge amount to be honest, 6k a year maybe. I have the flexibility that if it got to 95k and I needed to I could move it on..... is 95k really that different to 100k though!!? I guess it’s just a mental block!

It is a mental block, and may not apply to everyone but it is still the case that when someone sees 100k - the car would no longer be of interest.

You will just get a smaller market for resale, but if the purchase price is low, that might not matter that much. Put the one you are looking for on webuyanycar or so and see what they come up with, and then vary the miles so you can see the impact.

Hi, I'd potentially be tempted to sell my car as I'm looking for something for practical, potentially an RS5 ;).

My car is a 10 plate 35is, 66k miles in space grey with red leather - seems to tick all your boxes. Was originally bought from a forum member on here 18 months ago!
Spec:
- 35is so adaptive suspension and DCT as standard
- 19" 326M wheels (PS4S fitted)
- Heated seats with memory
- Professional navigation
- Professional hifi
- Cruise control
- Bluetooth connectivity
- PDC
- Wind deflector

Can provide the full spec if needed, however I'd be looking for ~£16.5k for it ideally.
