Hi Guys :)

Following on from introduction post HERE, which will give you a little idea about my passion for BMWs and the condition in which I like to maintain my cherished cars, I am looking to find a suitable E86 Z4 M Coupe.

I have a healthy budget for the right car and I'm keeping my eyes peeled everywhere I can to wait for the right car to crop up. I'm ready to jump on the right one too, with cash in the bank.

The MUSTS I am looking for are:
- Immaculate condition - especially paint/coachwork.
- Low miles (sub 45k) with FBMWSH. I may consider a car without FBMWSH but it MUST have been service to the schedule by reputable specialists and be immaculate.
- Options: MUST have iDrive/Nav and upgraded 10 speaker HiFi. Heated seats, PDC, Bluetooth prefferable.
- Colours: Silver Grey or Interlagos. May consider others if mint, but don't really want black.

If I can find a car that has been cherised by an enthusiast like myself I'll be a very happy man! Condition is very important to me although I don't mind a car that needs some work (just hopefully not paintwork as I like that original). But I'm well used to bringing maintenance up to scratch, refurbing wheels, recinditioning leather, replacing suffed trim etc etc.

If you have something that may be suitable, please get in touch. Unfortunatley this forum is not available at my workplace (servers block it) so some days I won't be able to reply the evening (or follwing morning if I'm working a nightshift) but I will be very grateful for any suggestions of potential cars.

How about this one. Doesn't have upgraded stereo (could always do it yourself), but has everything else you need, including some very desirable mods.

Good luck in your search keith. You'll find the right car on here at some point, thats a guarantee

Cheers Guys

@Steven - thanks for the suggestion. I had already seen that. However had it not been for my recent M3 just sold (also modified) I would have been all over that car. Beautiful mod list. But these days I'm after something less modified (maybe I'm getting old)! I want something uncompromised for everyday use - the more focused you make a car via modifications the less enjoyable it becomes anywhere other than a track. I'm really after a near-OE example and all I'll do is some H&Rs/Bilstein dampers + spacers, braided cables all round and maybe some better pads.

I say that now anyway - I'll probably fall into old habits and it's get modified further with BBKs/exhaust etc etc anyway

And the stereo is a dealbreaker at this early point - it's a must-have!

@Inkey - Hi mate - recognise the username from Z3mcoupe.com. Thanks for the reasurrance - I have patience, just a matter of finding the right car!

 Pretty new on the Z3MC forum for obvious reasons. This place is great for activity and you'll definitely find a decent car with the right history here. Patience is essential and the right car will appear. Just be ready to pounce when it does! Best of luck!

EDIT: btw, your how-to on MCoupe door mirror refurbs is one of the best I've read and I have it printed out in prep for doing my own

I should add, I am flexible on some aspects within reason: I can budge a little on mileage and options if the car is exceptional and priced fairly

Oh thanks! Forgot about that one! Glad it may be useful!

Had a PM from a member with a suitable car, he's still in limbo as to whether it's up for sale or not, but if he's willing to part I'm likely to buy. :)

But still open to other ideas up until any deal is shook on, so please still let me know if you have anything suitable

Thanks guys

Keith
