I am sure she will make far too much anyway - always does, so there will be spare

It's in your thread you nutter

Ignore the BMW numbering apparently and attach it up the same way as the old.

Sounds like a mini meet at Bing's! :)

There's a plan, wanna come ?

I do not have a pvr sized drive though, so the street will be crowded...

Just ordered the sound insulation from Sopers - actually spoke to Joe, so he's not left after all !

Cost is £61.69 after forum discount - on back order as most people just buy the motor (which will be with me today or tomorrow - impressive)

Part number is 54347119635 in case anyone else needs to know. You can find the part number for the motor by searching for 'roof motor' in koolchris's posts...

Number for Sopers - 01522 690000, as for Joe, Neil or Jamie.

Would the dealer all inclusive price have included that part I wonder?

Good plan deka - you sit down with his Mrs to have a nice dinner, and Bing is doing the work outside

Good question... Perhaps not. I am assuming mine will be soaking, so again, a peace of mind purchase... But perhaps a dealer would have dried the old one out.

I guess I have an ulterior motive for buying this part - my issues are in the public domain on this forum, so I'd like it known my car has been well looked after if / when I eventually give in to my /// M lust and decide to try and sell on here

Deka - be delighted to help, Mrs Bing will feed you

your a gent..... and so is koolchris for helping..... ahhh if only i wasnt on a totally different coast :(

Just one of the reasons why this forum is so great

Good luck with it Bing

Where are you ? Could be an excuse for a road trip

Thanks sars

Ordered the motor at 1100 yesterday, arrived just now - THAT is impressive service from Sopers

Seems to have some hydraulic fluid in it already, though only filled to just above the line on the opaque white pastic top - is this normal ?
