Wanted - E85 3.0i Sound generator Kit

Hi
Bit of a long shot, but looking for a sound generator kit that comes standard on an E85 3.0i

To fit a 2.5i Roadster E85

If anyone can help, please let me know

Took me ages to find one, then eventually one came up on ebay. Make sure you get the right one for your engine - the M54 and N52 are different.

If you get it from a breaker, check you get or be prepared to buy the grommet/washer that goes in the bulkhead (only about £7 anyway).

Good luck.... it might be worth seeing how much a new one from the stealer is...

Don't bother it's a waste of money. You're better off getting your exhaust modified.

I'd second this. I did the sound genuine, then modified my backbox and sold the sound genuine as it was essentially cancelled out by the new box

Ooh no, a standard sound generator and DLV back box is simply musical IMO!

I agree, I had a stainless backbox made up for me and with the sound generator it is epic compared to standard exhaust and no generator. Boom from the rear and growl from the front, whats not to like!
