Wanted Dual Action Polisher + Polish/Pads

Tempted to give this detailing lark a bash but looking into the kit don't fancy spending over a ton when knowing me I'll probably do it myself once then go back to paying people to clean the car for me...

Anyone got a used kit going cheapish so I can have a bash at removing the swirlies in my paint myself?

thing is you'll only use it once a year anyway most probs..the beauty is once you have done it though is they come up lovely with a quick wash at the weekend, still get comments on my paintwork and it was Feb last year when i detailed it...Im sure Ive seen a few forum comments of unused ones so one may be along shortly

I got a DA polisher from Argos for £54, got great reviews and half the price of the branded ones, works great.

I too am looking to buy a DA polisher (as I have more than just my car to sort out), but started looking in to it and while the actual polisher machine is fairly easier to choose (i.e. not too many choices), its a different matter when it comes to the pads and the polishes. Its a minefield and left me completely confused.

Speak to the guys at cleanmycar.co.uk - they are super helpful. I do mine 4 times a year to keep the swirls aways and have a boss shine all year round...that said I do have a bit of OCD regarding the cleanliness of my car. Just gave it the full spring detail at the weekend. Images below show the results of a two stage polish and wax.
