WANTED: Cruise Control Stalk (+ harness if possible)

Has anyone an idea of cost from Soper's, with discount, finding second hand ones are impossible! Going to France next month, would like to get sorted for this trip, for long journeys its a must, otherwise it look like we may take my trusty Diesel!! (It is a BMW I must add!)
 
I havent checked but I heard that BMW want £125 for the stalk. Theres a link earlier in the thread where it can be had for £80

Looks like my deal was too good to be true. The breakers apparently broke the stalk removing it :thumbsdown:

I chased several Breakers on eBay, of the 2 who had one, one wanted £59 delivered, the other wanted - wait for it - £60 + VAT + £10.50 delivery !!!! You would have thought I was buying an alloy wheel at that delivery price.!!

I would rather buy one new, than have the hassle and a beat up stalk in the car. False economy. Bimmertune at £81 seems a sensible price.

Yeah, might just bite the bullet and get it new from bimmertune. Wanted to do it on the cheap but £110 isn't expensive for cruise control really I suppose
 
Just to let you know i ordered one from Bimmertune, arrived, fitted and working!! Paid 10th Feb and came yesterday :)

My breakers stalk is in great working condition thanks, not beat up at all :thumbsup:

I was a retained fire fighter for 25 years, I enjoyed most aspects of the job but it started to get stale so I decided that quarter of a century was enough.
I will let you know about the £40 offer

Absolute bargain that one. ThHink I paid £45 for mine which included the slip ring and the two other stalks.
