If you are after a dremel I picked up a cordless rip off from Lidl for about 10 to 15 £ worth looking to see if any left in your local.

No point in paying out big bux for something you only gonna use a couple of times.

Couldn't find it in Lidl so B&Q mid range dremmel and im sorted. Leads are there i checked earlier so Will give it a bash this weekend :)

Excellent
You will be done in no time.
I put some masking tape along the outline of the cutout so it gives you a better line to cut to.
Why wait till the weekend ? It literally takes 30mins max :D

I can second how easy a job this is, fitted one to my 53 plate Z4 last year.

Cutting the cowl is harder than fitting the stalk.

I drove from the Midlands to the Lakes and then on to Glasgow at the weekend..........glad I had cruise.

Good Luck

Worth checking with the dealer when you order though.

Well it's a bit of a job to put it in. Not difficult just time consuming as you have to take out most of the footwell trims. Search on here for the pdf retrofit guide which should have the engine DME pin you need. For mine the instructions were wrong though.

Thanks Steve.. All fitted and working, just need to find me another cowel as the air freshners have made the plastic bubble up on mine. Well happy with the cruise control :driving:

Glad you you it done told you it was easy.
Might be worth seeing if you can do some sort of re spray job on your cowel as they cost a fortune new apparently.
