Hi Guys,

After removing my centre console and rear console to get to my airbag module to investigate my airbag warning light i damaged one of the cover plugs for the centre console (number 19 in the picture) and just wondered if any of you has a spare one to sell in their garage or in the bottom of a drawer somewhere. My centre console is a dark colour i think the call it schwarz. If there are none around does anyone know if they are available from BMW?

Thanks Guys

Haven’t got one myself but there’s one further back on the rear center console panel that you could borrow as it’s not a noticeable place

If you have access to (or have a friend who does) a 3D Printer, I made an STL for these on thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2418998

You can get them on ebay in various colours I think. For example

I know some people don't care about this kind of thing ... but please don't buy them from that person! They've just "stolen" a design from thingiverse and profiting from someone else's work. -- https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3404310

I realise the original creator chose to allow commercial usage BUT the license also provides that credit be given and links to the source - of which the seller does neither. Literally profiteering off other peoples work

I saw these and didn't like the look of them, I didn't think they looked anything like original.

The ones I uploaded to thingiverse are better IMO (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2418998).

Having just double checked the other persons design though, his are actually closer to the OEM ones - although I swear they look different in diff pics ha. Sometimes I think mine is closer to OEM, other times I think the other persons are

Here's a photo fitted in mine. You do still see the lines from the 3D Printing method. If you really wanted, you could put a layer of resin over it, or simple use a primer filler to smooth it out and get rid of the lines, then spray black. It's barely noticeable in place though IMO
