WANTED: Boot Lid in Stirling Grey

what happened to your Boot Lid? somebody pinch it?

The only problem would be the boot lock wouldn't fit but as it's remote locking that should only be a problem if the battery went flat - in which case, it could be a nightmare. I could probably negate that by adding a wire direct to the battery contacts with a suitable weatherproof plug pushed through the battery box, then I could charge the battery remotely from outside the car even if the locks wouldn't work. It's a very slim possibility though, so I think it's do-able

Theres a pic of them on a Stirling Z4 on here somewhere and they don't look too bad - chrome looks a but too retro for the Z4 though IMHO so I'd prefer not to have them on all the time
I'm thinking I'll head to the south of France in late August for a couple of weeks for some time on the beach. Quick detour to the col-de-Turini too, just because :

Ah I now understand, I'm sure you are checking with yards that have cars on hand that have been totaled by some of the wild drivers out there

I haven't yet, thought I'd give the forum a go!
I'll give one of those breaker listing web sites a go on Monday and see what comes back
