WANTED: BMW ELIPSOID ALLOYS PLEASE! :)

Hey guys,

I am on the hunt for a set of BMW elipsoid alloys (pref with RFT's but will consider alloys only too)!

I have been looking for a while now but had no success...

Let me know if anyone has any!

I'm not really sure... I suppose it depends on the condition of the alloys/tyres etc...

How much would you need to be truely tempted??!

Not really sure what they would be worth tbh, any help on value would be useful from anyone....

They are good all round, no kerbing, only a bit of bubbling between a few spokes, with Bridgestone RF's (2x5mm, 2x3mm)
 
Just looked on ebay, a set of 108's (probs worth slightly more) with all four tyres 5mm, are 850 quid BIN. So I guess getting on for that. 600 maybe? Ideas anyone?

Thanks for the reply... Afraid £600 will be out of my price range at the moment :(

I was hoping to spend a bit less than this!

Do they have to be elipsoid I have a nice set of 18" 101 split rims with nearly rew bridgestones on here for sale and I am only 50 miles away from you and I am in hereford on saturday morning I will give them a bump so there easy to find

i think that's way overpriced. you can get the M wheels with tyres in good condition for around £650. not sure how much the 108's or Ellipsoids would be, but i'm guessing less than the M's??

Quite like the look of the "M" wheels too... Would consider these at the right price if anyone has any available?

z4phill, yes they are Ms. they have the same setup as all 18s available for zeds.

littleone_90, there's a very good set (just refurbed) going for £650.

ive seen ,i like, but I would like to sell mine first I do fancy a set of 19 csl reps so I am looking at spending a grand on the rite set of wheels my car is verry similar to yours sterling grey hardtop

Yeah, it seems the 108's I saw were pricey (no reason why really). I'd say mine are maybe worth 450 ish with good tyres in good nick.

then you'll be happy to know that no pictures do them justice! they have to be seen in the flesh!!
 
hi i see your after a set of elipsoids, i would swap mine for a set of any z4 18" wheels with good tyres.

my elipsoids are good with a few kurb marks, all very streight has two front run flats with about 3mm - 3.5mm on and one runflat on the rear with about 4mm on and a normal tyre with about 5mm on.

im in wigan but would be happy with a swap for any z4 wheels even aftermarket types

Funny things those ellipsoids, you either love 'em or hate 'em. Personally I can't get jiggy with something with a name that sounds like some kind of bowel complaint... :rofl:

But other than the 'M' rear wheel's being a 1/2" wider at 9J ET30 and the standard Z fitment being a 8.5J ET50
and the fronts being a 8J ET42 and not an 8J ET47, they are the same as all 18's available for Zed's. :poke:
