Wanted: BMW Carly recode Cambridgeshire area

I’m not sure but it may be worth a try?

Would definitely be interested in a trip down to Bedford to give it a go.

Would the start of November be any good for you?

I am in Cambridgeshire. Alconbury if that helps i have both the cable and wifi OBD plug.

Also in Cambridge CB22 - however I only have the Carly OBD - USB cable which may or may not work on your model - but you’re welcome to pop over and try

Definitely worth a try! What software do you need on the pc?

Carly is an android / iphone app. Very good and does quite alot. If the obd usb cable doesnt work then i also have the wifi adaptor which should work. I think between all the offers your car can be coded. What are you looking to code?

Hi Rusky,

Ideally I want to increase the speed you can open the roof, enable closing with the key and have the mirrors tilt down when I put the car in reverse so that I can are the curb.

I’d be up for a trip to alconbury. When are you free?

Appreciate the help.

Alconbury on your wing mirror selector move it to select the passenger side and leave it there and put the car in reverse. Is yours an e89?

As Rusky said, the software is Carly (Which you asked for in your title :rofl: )

I have the Android version (current latest 25.60) on a Nexus 7 2013 Tablet with USB Cable.

If you want to give it go (if I'm closer) send me a PM :)

Ah sorry I got confused. I wondered with you saying it was the usb version that it would require a pc. I’m meeting up with Rusky on Friday and he’s going to give it a blast.

No problem :) I think Rusky is more likely to have success than I would as he has the WiFi (iPhone I presume) version. I've read the USB cable is for <=2004 and the Bluetooth/WiFi is for >2004
